In School

I am Joseph Pondorh, a fourth-year medical student at the University for Development Studies, Tamale. My interests include reading, networking, and watching football. My ultimate goal is to become a military doctor, dedicated to serving Ghana and contributing to the broader health and security landscape in Africa. Navigating the high costs associated with medical education in Ghana posed a significant challenge for both me and my family until recently. Thankfully, Eleos played a pivotal role by awarding me a scholarship, ensuring that I can actively pursue and achieve my professional aspirations. Moreover, Eleos has not only provided financial support but has also immersed me in a dynamic and skilled community of mentors and peers. This invaluable network serves as a platform for holistic personal and professional development, molding me into an asset for my country. Inspired by the belief that "helping one person cannot change the world, but it can change the world for one person," I am motivated to give back to the less privileged in society. Through my journey, I aim to make a positive impact, influenced by the transformative support I've received. Thank you.
